Information given at checkout

When you place an order, your name, shipping address, and contact details (phone and/or email) are collected and passed on so the order can be processed and delivered. That information is held in Shopify, which runs the catalog, the bag, and checkout for us.

Payment information

This site never collects, stores, or processes credit-card details.Payment happens entirely on Shopify's secure checkout and with the payment provider connected to it. Full card details do not pass through this site's servers and are not kept by us.

Local storage in the browser

So a purchase you started (the bag) can stay between visits, the site keeps only a technical identifier in your browser (Local Storage) — not payment details and not identifying personal information. The Meta measurement tool described below also stores cookies in the browser. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.

Measurement and advertising (Meta Pixel)

The site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms (which operates Facebook and Instagram), to measure how our advertising performs and to show relevant ads. The tool stores cookies and sends Meta information about use of the site: pages viewed, pieces viewed or added to the bag, and the move to checkout — along with technical data such as IP address and browser type. Payment details are not sent to Meta from this site. Meta may connect this information to an account you have with them, under their own privacy policy.

You can limit this in the ad settings of your Meta account, by blocking third-party cookies in the browser, or with an ad blocker. The site keeps working when the tool is blocked.

Third parties

The information needed to complete an order is shared only with the parties involved in fulfilling it: Shopify (the commerce engine), the payment provider connected to it, and the shipping company that actually delivers it. Information about use of the site is also sent to Meta, as described above. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

Security

Traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Payment happens in a secure environment run by Shopify and the payment provider, under the security standards usual in the industry.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, subject to what the law requires us to keep (for example order records for accounting).
